The Cardinals got good injury reports on both Yadier Molina and Colby Rasmus on Tuesday, and both were available for Tuesday night’s game against the Giants at Busch Stadium.

Molina, who bruised his right thigh during a collision at home plate with the Twins’ Michael Cuddyer on Saturday afternoon, felt better after two days off and returned to the starting lineup. The left-handed-hitting Rasmus missed Monday’s game with a hiatal hernia but wasn’t in the lineup on Tuesday because the Giants sent lefty Randy Johnson to the hill.
